Machine Embroidery Designs

SPECIAL NOTICE
A LETTER FROM POLLY

Greetings,

My name is Polly. For more than ten years I have created machine embroidery designs featuring Sunbonnet Sue and her best friend, Sam, and put them in a roll of funny little kids. A great deal of nostalgia has been mixed with the faceless characters that were originally done around the year 1900. Many quilts and other sewing items have been decorated using most (if not all) of my 750 creations - to my delight.

I have given away thousands of free designs because you are not just customers, you are friends - email communications with my friends happens almost every day. My friends and the Sunbonnets have been great helpmates during tough times.

It is now time to retire the web site (http://PolyDesigns.net). The last day of the web site will be on October 31, 2008 and my creations will continue in a much more confined and different form.

BUT...  Kiss

You now have the one-time opportunity to purchase the whole collection, more than 750 original Sunbonnet Sue and Sam embroidery designs, for less than 14 cents each. They come on a CD with a picture of each design. Can you imagine all you can do with the whole collection? Upon the purchase of the designs, you will automatically be put on a mail list to receive 12 more brand new designs, one a month for 12 months. The one time purchase price is $100 (US).

It has been fun!  But this is the time it must all end, October 31st. Your one-time opportunity to have the whole collection will not be repeated!  For 750 (+) top quality Sunbonnet embroidery designs, this is one you don't want to pass up!

Write to me - place your order by email:

Children with HIV
We need quilt squares. Please help children with HIV.
Lots of people have donated quilt block squares, click here to see who they are.

Some very nice people in Kentucky, at Sandy's Husqvarna Supercenter, put the donated squares together for the children so they can have their very own security quilt.

What is Heart to Heart?

These two kids, Sunbonnet Sue and Sunbonnet Sam, are full of mischief, vim and vigor, but just like most kids they have compassion, and especially when it comes to other kids.
My friend in Kentucky belongs to a great organization called the Lions. Their members love kids and when they see kids suffering they want to help them.
John and his wife, Maryann, along with some other people saw some kids between the ages of 5 and 13 suffering with AIDS/HIV.  These kids didn't do anything to get the disease, they were brought into this world with physical suffering, and a lot of crying. Some of them have to be put in foster homes. They can't understand why they have to hurt so much.
The Lions of Kentucky have recognized their pain (physical and mental) and have organized a camp and an organization called Heart To Heart. There, the administrators and camp counselors love, laugh, understand and cry right along with the kids.

Well, John and Mary Ann have come up with a great idea, an idea that lets us help the kids. The kids need quilts. In order to make the quilts, John and Mary Ann need quilt squares - 9 inches by 9 inches, on white cotton material (preferred). The squares will be collected from all over the world, from individuals, organizations and clubs and then assembled in Kentucky.
Won't you please help us?
